Project Background

Turning Bamboo Resources Into Higher-Value Carbon Products

Bamboo grows quickly and creates large amounts of processing residue in bamboo flooring, furniture, panel and craft product industries. Through controlled preparation, carbonization and activation, bamboo biomass can be upgraded from a low-value residue into porous carbon materials for energy storage, filtration and adsorption markets.

Raw Material Advantage

Bamboo has a strong fiber structure and good carbon yield potential, making it suitable for biomass charcoal and activated carbon processing after controlled drying and sizing.

Processing Goal

The project builds a route from bamboo preparation to carbonization, activation, cooling, crushing, screening and packing for different carbon product grades.

Product Direction

Finished material can be positioned for negative electrode material pretreatment, filtration media, deodorization, water treatment and industrial adsorption applications.
